It has been recommended that a section on terrorism and terrorists be included at this site.  On the first page of this site there is a definition of Deviant as being behaviors or attitudes that differ from socially acceptable norms.  To this definition a modifier was added that these behaviors or attitudes must victimize or exploit others.  In essence, terrorists fit this definition.  Terrorism as defined by the Federal Bureau of Investigation¹ is quoted below and refers to domestic terrorism.

Domestic terrorism refers to activities that involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any state; appear to be intended to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; to influence the policy of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States.
