Forensics or crime scene investigation has become tremendously popular due to the success of the television series CSI, Forensic Files, Cold Case Files, and I, Detective. Within this section are areas of forensic techniques or specialties that are important to investigations, but does not cover every aspect of the field. I have also included a page that is an overview to trace evidence, however some of the other pages will look at certain aspects in more detail.
