Blood Red: Genesis of a Psychopath
Author: Jack Osborne
Publisher: Lulu
Jack is an old friend and is a contributing
author on Deviant Crimes. Russell Smith contributes to Deviant Crimes
with his BRACE profiles. I will update this page after reading
the book with a book review. If anyone would like to add a review of
Jack's book, please write to me and I will post it here. For those
interested in buying the book, here is a link.

This book is a must read for true crime buffs as well as those interested in
the genesis of true psychopaths. The characters are very depictive of
humanity and the crossover from good to evil. Jack is experienced in law
enforcement and Russell's BRACE character profiling is an excellent tool
that would be a plus to any law enforcement agency.

Red Blood: Genesis of a Psychopath is the
book which allows the reader to visualize the actual behaviors of a
psychopath. It is a quick read and the author knows this world from
the best vantage point possible; his own observation. As a worker in
the field of criminal justice I would recommend this book to those who
may consider this career path and as a teacher I would add this book to
any reading list for abnormal psychology or forensics. We have
descriptions of behaviors in clinical textbooks but Jack Osborne has
generated discussion of this serious topic by anyone who reads his
