Rationale and References from the REVELATION POEMS: An Interpretation of the Seven Seals:
The Creator established a perfect environment for mankind (Genesis 2:8) with great abundance and only one restriction on mankind’s free will (Genesis 2:16-17). “Satan,” the personal name of the Devil, the dragon, the serpent in the garden (Revelation 12:9; 20:2), revealed his own motives and methods as he SUBTLY moved to influence mankind’s FREEWILL and CREATIVE IMAGINATION in order to shape mankind into his own IMAGE (John 8:44; II Corinthians 11:14).

Mankind was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:3) but Satan used his awesome knowledge of the natural laws of the universe and human nature to MOTIVATE mankind to act against God, thereby separating mankind from knowledge of the holy (i.e., understanding) and the KINGDOM OF GOD.

Satan used his great wisdom and beauty (Ezekiel 28:12-19) to deceive mankind, to LEAD mankind to MAKE CHOICES against God (Revelation 13:10), to believe his LIE (Genesis 3:4) instead of God’s TRUTH --- i.e., to FOLLOW after the image of Satan instead of worshipping the Father. Satan SEDUCED mankind in order to steal mankind from the kingdom of God. He EXERCISED the thoughts of mankind’s heart (Genesis 6:5) to become MANKIND’S GOD in his own earthly kingdom --- i.e., this current world system of things (II Corinthians 4:4).

Mankind and this world system are destined by Satan and human nature to DESOLATION and DESTRUCTION (Proverbs 1:21-33; Isaiah 24:12; 51:19; Lamentations 3:17) --- but the second coming of Jesus Christ will cut this process in its midst and terminate Satan's rule of mankind and his kingdom of DECEPTION & VIOLENCE (Revelation 11:18).

Satan had to offer Eve a powerful rationale to motivate her to join him in acting against God, motivating her to believe that God was a liar and deceiver of mankind. Satan did so in a twofold manner, by accusing God of selfishly keeping the fruit of the best tree in the garden for himself while keeping mankind as ignorant slaves in His garden. Satan made it threefold by promising Eve that this very delicious fruit would open her eyes and she would be as God, free to exercise her will and imagination independent of God's restrictive interference --- unlimited knowledge and power, endless pleasure and complete freedom of choice, all available IMMEDIATELY through a single, simple act!

Satan selected Eve as his target because he knew Adam would follow Eve’s lead (Genesis 2:18). Adam had been alone before and it was “not good” (Genesis 2:18). (Notice that it is the woman who controls the beast at Revelation 17:3, and it is the beast that came up out of the earth that creates an image to the beast that rose up out of the sea in Revelation 13.) Through a single solicitous, non-threatening question (Genesis 3:1 “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?”), Satan effectively FOCUSED and CONCENTRATED Eve’s attention on the only forbidden fruit in the garden, simultaneously MAGNIFYING God’s role as restricting mankind’s freedom of choice. Satan effectively laid the groundwork for both attacking God’s motives and enticing Eve’s self-esteem.

Instead of answering Satan’s loaded question with a simple “Yea” (Matthew 5:37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.), Eve apparently added to God’s words at Genesis 3:3 “neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.” At this point, Satan KNEW Eve was putting words in God’s mouth (as self-deceivers and liars are inclined to do), and that Eve was FOLLOWING HIS LEAD. Now Satan was emboldened to directly contradict God’s words, essentially calling God a liar (Genesis 3:4 “And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:”).

Satan had indeed effectively applied his knowledge of the laws of the universe and basic human nature to create, concentrate, and intensify Eve’s resentment and envy of God --- to DEIFY her self-serving DESIRE for unrestricted freedom of choice, freedom of experience, and unlimited wisdom --- to be God-free and yet to be God-like, “unnamed and unnamable”--- to be SELF-God, which is exactly what Satan desires (Matthew 4:9; Luke 4:7). Like a lamb to the slaughter, Eve was cognitively seduced into following his lead instead of God’s, seduced into “changing” mankind into Satan’s IMAGE (Revelation 13:18) instead of God’s (Genesis 1:26-27; II Corinthians 4:4; Colossians 1:15; Revelation 15:2; 20:4).

At this point, all Satan had to do was let human nature run its natural course (Genesis 3:6 “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”). Subtle Satan had effectively allied himself with mankind against God by planting evil seeds in fertile ground --- i.e., a mind void of understanding and overly open to suggestion --- which becomes increasingly furtive ground for the one who subtly cultivates it.

Satan REDEFINED mankind’s freewill in terms of power and control in order to actively reinforce thoughts, emotions, and behavior oppositional to the authority of God, the Creator. And he called the truth a lie and a lie the truth, creating images in the imagination of mankind full of mysterious pleasures, immediate satisfaction, easy gains, and secret wisdom, all based on undue SELF-ESTEEM --- i.e., the pride of self-worship.

Filled with anticipatory excitation, Eve’s body was increasingly prepared to fulfill her imagination, which Satan had exercised and captured. Yet, in the final analysis, Satan simply used WORDS to influence mankind’s thoughts and CHOICES. Exactly as he attempted to do to Jesus in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-11; Luke 4:1-13). There was deception, but no force was involved. In a simple, very clear, two-alternative, forced-choice situation, mankind chose to reject God’s way of the Spirit and the Tree Of Life and chose to follow Satan’s way of the flesh to Death.

Created in the image of the Creator but choosing Satan's word and way instead of God's, mankind is faced with the blessing and curse of “self-creation” --- i.e., shaping their own beliefs, values, emotions, desires, and behavior based on direct experience, observation, and exercising their own dark imaginations. In a very literal sense, we each are creating our own soul, the conscience that governs the thoughts of our heart in the domain of our imagination. We are indeed gods in the kingdom of our own imaginations ... and our thoughts have real, measurable, physiological properties with real consequences.

How we exercise our brain in thought determines who we are and who we are becoming. How a person integrates their external and internal realities has profound implications for their physical and mental well-being, but these pale in comparison to the implications of creating one's own soul. Seeking and following after the Word of God literally creates associative links and pathways in the brain, the fiery pathways of the Spirit which lead the way back to the tree of life in the midst of the paradise of God.

It is the images and words in the domain of the “thick darkness” of the imagination of mankind --- i.e., the thoughts of the heart, which are spirit not physical, that war to formulate intent and attribute value, creating and destroying who we are and who we are becoming, according to the sensitivities of our conscience, which we develop or NOT (John 2:21; 3:19-21; 9:39; 12:35-36; 14:17-21; 16:13-16; 20:29; Romans 2:15; 9:1; I Corinthians 3:16-17; 6:17-20; II Corinthians 4:2-4; 6:16; Ephesians 2:21-22; Hebrews 9:14; Revelation 21:22).

The Old Testament law was national and external, focusing on overt behavior, with observable and measurable criteria for compliance and noncompliance, readily lending itself to application by men of good will. In marked contrast, the testimony of Jesus Christ was personal and internal, focusing on covert behavior, with private criteria for compliance and noncompliance, making each man his own judge, fully accountable for his emotions as well as behavior, with anger being equated with murder and every desire (soul) with its act of fruition. Man's relationship to God was changed forever and personal responsibility and accountability greatly expanded and intensified. Now the reins of the thoughts of the heart (the spirit) are truly tried (Matthew chapters 5-7).

The world is in Satan’s power (Job 1:6-7; Zechariah 3:1; Matthew 4:2-11: Mark 1:13; 4:15; Luke 4:2-14; 10:18-20; Luke 13:6; 22:3; 22:31; John 13:27; Acts 5:3; 26:18; Romans 16:20; I Corinthians 5:5; 7:5; II Corinthians 2:11; 11:14; 12:7; I Thessalonians 2:18; II Thessalonians 2:7-12; I Timothy 1:20; 5:15; Revelation 2:9; 2:13; 2:24; 3:9; 12:9; 20:2; 20:7). And the world is on a very human course of “self destruction” ... under governments (Revelation 13:1) and religious systems (Revelation 13:11) created by mankind (Revelation 13:18), in the image of Satan.

It is no accident that Satan’s threefold strategy for tempting Jesus in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-11; Luke 4:1-13) is the same strategy he used in Eden to separate mankind from God (Genesis 3). It is no accident that Satan’s threefold strategy corresponds to the three core tendencies of pathological character development profiled by Solomon in Proverbs --- i.e., the SIMPLE, the SCORNER, and the FOOLISH (e.g., Proverbs 1:22). It is no accident that there are three corresponding preparations of the heart (ground) presented in detail in the “parable of parables” --- i.e., the parable of the sower. It is no accident that the "Holy, holy, holy," of God (Revelation 4:8) corresponds to the "Woe, woe, woe," of the inhabiters of the earth (Revelation 8:13). It is no accident that it is in the mouth of two or three witnesses that all things are established (Deuteronomy 19:15). And, it is no accident that the Word of God, the testimony of Jesus Christ, and the witness of the Holy Spirit consecutively and progressively convict the world.

Mankind follows after the image of mankind (Revelation 13:18), esteeming their SELVES as gods, and defining what "feels good" as GOOD and what "feels bad" as EVIL, following after their own image in worship of their father, Satan (Deuteronomy 12:8; Judges 21:25; Jeremiah 9:12-16; Daniel 11:36-39; John 8:42-47; Jude; Revelation 13:8).

The BRACE Character Profile of Satan is a profile of EVIL in the eyes of the God, not the eyes of mankind, as reflected in thoughts, behaviors, and desires.

General Information About the BRACE Character Profile: The BRACE Character Profile consists of 75 items which are rated on a five point scale. The underlying structure of the BRACE Character Profile™ is based on three prototypical character types (Type A, Type B, and Type C), which are each rated on eight Cognitive variables, eight Behavior variables, and eight Existential or Motivation variables. The scores and graphics generated by a BRACE Character Profile™ represent the degree to which an individual’s manner of thought, behavior, and motivation are similar to or different from each of the three prototypical character types. The 75 input ratings for the BRACE Character Profile™ can be completed by anyone with basic reading skills and the ability to rate statements about an individual in an objective manner.

The following instructions are on each 75-item input rating form:

INSTRUCTIONS:
Rate each item 0,1,2,3, 4, or X.
Enter the rating in the space provided.
Attempt to rate each item, even if there is some doubt.
It is important to rate each item as accurately as possible.
If you clearly have no knowledge about an item, rate the item X.
When in doubt between two ratings, be conservative and select the lower rating.

0 = Rarely, Slightly, or Not Characteristic at All
1 = Somewhat, Sometimes, Mildly Characteristic
2 = Often or Frequently or Strongly Characteristic
3 = Very Often or Very Strongly Characteristic
4 = Consistently, Extremely, Core Characteristic
X = No knowledge.

PLEASE: Frequently refer to the rating scale.
Over or under rating items distorts the profile.

READ EACH ITEM CAREFULLY, CONSIDERING THE FULL CONTENT OF THE ITEM
NOTE: Pay very close attention to the wording (particularly: if, may, and, both, etc.).

General rating guidelines:
If an item is 100% true, it is a 4.
If there are some parts that are not true but overall the item is at least 75% true, it is a 3.
If half is 100% true but half is not true at all or only partially true, it is at least a 2.
If one or more parts is true, it is at least a 1.
If almost all of the item is false most of the time, it is a 0.

Note: Consensus input by two or more raters increases the knowledge base and allows for doubts to be “reasoned out” and alternative perspectives to be considered. However, one person who has good knowledge of the character being rated (or access to those who do) and who also has good critical thinking skills can successfully complete the input ratings.

The BRACE Character Profile™ provides a wealth of information, but the individual rated must be well known or clearly imagined. Clinicians are able to consider the degree to which an individual is similar to or different from each of the DSM-IV-TR™ personality disorders and any other diagnostic category (e.g., Asperger’s Disorder), prototypical type (e.g., 40-point HARE PCL-R), or individual that has been rated using the BRACE Character Profile™. An analysis of the BRACE Character Profile™ graphics requires basic knowledge of the three prototypical character types, which is available on the internet in the Frequently Asked Section of www.BRACEanalysis.com.

In the final analysis, the BRACE Character Profile™ merely puts the image that is in the mind of the rater into an objective and meaningful format, which can be shared and considered from many different angles, much like a hologram or a virtual reality tour of a house. The bits and pieces of information included in the input ratings are transformed into a virtual persona of the person in the mind of the rater. This process is certainly affected by the knowledge base for input ratings, the objectivity and critical thinking skills of the rater, and the strict adherence of the rater to the BRACE Character Profile™ rating procedures.

Satan’s basic BRACE Character Profile™ graphic is on the following page.

BRACE Character Profile

Satan
Means by Character Type and Variables

  Cognitive Behavior Existential
A 0.67 0.50 1.00 0.72
B 3.25 3.56 3.75 3.52
C 3.50 3.50 3.11 3.37
  2.47 2.52 2.62 2.54

An analysis of a basic BRACE Character Profile™ graphic will take into consideration not only the nine points reflected in the basic graphic, but the average scores for each DOMAIN (Cognitive, Behavior, and Existential), and the average scores for each CHARACTER TYPE (A, B, and C). More advanced analysis takes into consideration the relationships of the three Types within and between the three Domains, as well as a more detailed analysis of the underlying variables. The basic graphic is used for a general analysis and quick visual comparisons with other graphics, such as DSM-IV-TR™ Personality Disorders, to generally “rule out” and “rule in” possible disorders, or any type of cluster of characteristics.

Satan’s basic BRACE Character Profile™ graphic reflects extreme cognitive, behavioral, and existential pathology. The extreme Type B and Type C characteristics in all three domains, in combination with the relatively low Type A characteristics, make this profile particularly sinister. Satan’s thoughts and desires are extremely self-centered and self-serving, and he is both willing and able to act on them. His self-absorbed nature is only matched by his obsession with matters of power and control. In fact, power and control are his greatest desire and there is nothing he would not do in order to fulfill his desire. He would readily use force and violence, as well as lies and deception, to gain, maintain, and experience power and control. The relatively low Type A characteristics indicate good intelligence and a high capacity to control and focus thoughts and behavioral efforts. However, the Type A scores also indicate some type of simplistic dysfunction.

The graphic on the following page is used for quick visual comparisons with standardized DSM-IV-TR Personality Disorders. It is useful to rule out and rule in possible disorders. Even though this visual comparison is considered to be a “gross” level of analysis, it does shed some light on the basic graphic. However, with this and other graphic comparisons, one must keep in mind that similar Type and Domain scores may be generated by different underlying structures.

A quick visual comparison of Satan’s basic graphic with the graphic profiles of the 10 DSM-IV-TR Personality Disorders very clearly eliminates Schizoid, Schizotypal, Avoidant, Dependent, and Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorders. Paranoid, Borderline, and Histrionic may have some characteristics in common, but are not likely characteristic overall. Only Antisocial Personality Disorder and Narcissistic Personality Disorder remain as strong possibilities. Further analysis requires consideration of the individual ratings underlying the graphic profile.

Correlation Charts:
I am including correlation charts for each of the 10 DSM-IV-TR Personality Disorders, Asperger’s Disorder, and a prototypical 40-point HARE PCL-R. Just glancing at this data may reveal a wealth of information to a clinician or someone familiar with the BRACE Character Profile™. First, a comment about DSM-IV-TR and “prototypical Personality Disorders” and their correlations with a character’s BRACE Character Profile™.

NOTE:  A clinician using the BRACE Character Profile™ graphics and correlations for the DSM-IV-TR™ diagnostic categories will need to keep in mind that the DSM-IV-TR Personality Disorders are not equal in terms of the types of information used as a “diagnostic criteria” --- nor are they equal in terms of the number of available criteria that must be met in order for a diagnosis to be made --- nor are they equal in terms of the number and types of other qualifiers which must be taken into consideration in order to make a diagnosis. DSM-IV-TR is a categorical classification, but all members of a diagnostic class are not homogeneous, class boundaries are not clear, and there is significant overlap between “classifications.” The BRACE Character Profile™ is a dimensional classification system which provides numerical and graphic information, which may be subthreashold, based on a quantification of core characteristics common to human nature. In fact, negative correlations provide as much clinical information as positive correlations. Bottom line is that a visual comparison of BRACE Character Profile™ graphics correlation charts help inform clinical opinion or the opinion of anyone familiar with the BRACE Character Profile™. Some alternatives can be ruled out and others more seriously considered through a more detailed analysis of underlying variables and correlations.

The color coding used in the BRACE Character Profile™ correlation charts is somewhat like a traffic light:

green is a GO for high positive correlation (.05 or higher).
yellow is a CAUTION for a positive correlation which deserves consideration (.1 to .06).
red is a STOP, which indicates a negative correlation of .1 or higher.

Actually, the negative correlations provide as much useful clinical and practical information as the positive correlations. It is the combination of high correlations, both positive and negative, that yields the analysis. If one knows how a person thinks, what a person thinks about, what a person does, and what a person wants, then the person is 100% profiled. On the flip side, if one knows how a person does NOT think, what a person does NOT think about, what a person does NOT do, and what a person does NOT want, then the person is also 100% profiled. Consider the 10 DSM-IV-TR™ personality disorders. When there are several significant positive correlations and several significant negative correlations that consistently complement each other in terms of the functional characteristics, the individual profiled is well formulated and has a high level of definition provided by the stark contrasts.

Note that “Diagnostic Considerations” means exactly that ... consider ... apply clinical skills and keep the basic profile in mind while doing so. The correlations are strong indicators, but analysis requires consideration of known facts, other sources of information, and the analysis of each Type (A, B, and C) and each Domain (Cognitive, Behavior, and Existential). The BRACE Character Profile™ reflects patterns, characteristics of thought, behavior, and motivation --- it does not presume to make clinical diagnoses. There are many potential clinical paths to any cluster of cognitive-behavioral-existential characteristics.

The 12 columns in the above chart are as follows:

Column 1 = Paranoid Personality Disorder (301.0)
Column 2 = Schizoid Personality Disorder (301.20)
Column 3 = Schizotypal Personality Disorder (301.22)
Column 4 = Antisocial Personality Disorder (301.7)
Column 5 = Borderline Personality Disorder (301.83)
Column 6 = Histrionic Personality Disorder (301.50)
Column 7 = Narcissistic Personality Disorder (301.81)
Column 8 = Avoidant Personality Disorder (301.82)
Column 9 = Dependent Personality Disorder (301.6)
Column 10 = Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder (301.4)
Column 11 = prototypical 40-point Hare PCL-R
Column 12 = Asperger’s Disorder (299.80)

OVERALL DIAGNOSTIC CONSIDERATIONS:
Significant Positive Correlations (in rank order): 40-point Hare PCL-R, Narcissistic Personality Disorder, and Antisocial Personality Disorder.
Significant Negative Correlations (in rank order): Dependent Personality Disorder, Avoidant Personality Disorder, Schizoid Personality Disorder, Schizotypal Personality Disorder, Asperger’s Disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorder.

Analysis: In terms of overall functioning, Satan is essentially a sophisticated psychopath. Consequently, one would expect an associated Narcissistic Personality Disorder and related antisocial characteristics. The significant negative correlations confirm an absence of interpersonal anxiety, good interpersonal skills, and a fierce independence.

COGNITIVE DOMAIN:
Significant Positive Correlations (rank ordered): 40-point Hare PCL-R and Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
Significant Negative Correlations (rank ordered): Dependent Personality Disorder, Avoidant Personality Disorder, Schizoid Personality Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder, Schizotypal Personality Disorder, and Asperger’s Disorder.

Analysis: Again, the positive and negative correlations reveal the thought patterns of a sophisticated psychopath who is cognitively very proactive in matters of power and control. That is, he is an intelligent, independent thinker with a high degree of self-control, who is entirely self-serving, actively calculating, interpersonally engaging, and his thought processes and learning are not disturbed by or influenced by anxiety, guilt or shame. Value judgments are a matter of intellect and cost-benefit analysis rather than avoidance conditioning or obedience. Decisions to act or not to act are entirely self-serving calculations based on current estimates of risk and opportunity.

BEHAVIOR:
Significant Positive Correlations (in rank order): Narcissistic Personality Disorder and traits of a prototypical 40-point Hare PCL-R.
Significant Negative Correlations (in rank order): Dependent Personality Disorder, Schizotypal Personality Disorder, Schizoid Personality Disorder, Asperger’s Disorder, Avoidant Personality Disorder, and Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder.

Analysis: Satan willingly acts-out to meet his self-serving needs, but he does so in a highly controlled manner. Given the extreme levels of force and violence, and lies and deceptions, he willingly uses, plus his “blind” and exploitive pursuit of his personal desires, his level of self-control (self-restraint and self-discipline) is remarkable. The significant negative correlations indicate a high level of interpersonal skills, which in combination with his extreme psychopathy and related narcissism makes Satan extremely subtle and dangerous. His presentation ranges from highly appealing to highly threatening, and he is adept at using the full range of reinforcing and/or punishing techniques to motivate others.

EXISTENTIAL:
Significant Positive Correlations (in rank order): 40-point Hare PCL-R, Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Paranoid Personality Disorder, Antisocial Personality Disorder, and Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder.
Significant Negative Correlations (in rank order): Dependent Personality Disorder and Avoidant Personality Disorder.

Analysis: Herein “lies” the driving force of Satan’s psychopathic character. He wants to be free of ALL constraints, to have ALL power and control, TO DO AS HE PLEASES, to be number 1. Notice that the Existential domain is the only domain that is positively correlated with Paranoid Personality Disorder, Antisocial Personality Disorder, and Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder. Satan’s high opinion of himself and his desire for absolute power and control distorts his judgment and is the source of his decision-making errors. His psychopathic narcissism exceeds both his good judgment and his good conduct (obedience). Note that Satan does not have the Cognitive characteristics or Behavioral limitations of someone with a Paranoid Personality Disorder, an Antisocial Personality Disorder, or an Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder, but he does desire power and control.

CHARACTER DYSFUNCTION:

TYPE A: No significant positive or negative correlations.

Analysis: Satan is far too sophisticated to have any overall positive correlations based on Type A characteristics. There are some positive trends for psychopathy and narcissism, but in general, he has high intelligence, excellent impulse control, excellent critical thinking skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and his cognitive processes are functionally intact.

TYPE B: Significant Positive Correlation for traits of a prototypical 40-point Hare PCL-R. No significant negative correlations.

Analysis: Satan’s excellent impulse control, analytic skills, and generally disciplined expression of anger and well-calculated use of force and violence reduce positive correlations with those personality disorders that do have relatively high patterns of Type B characteristics (e.g., Paranoid Personality Disorder). Although several personality disorders reflect strong negative trends, none are significant.

TYPE C: No significant positive or negative correlations.

Analysis: In spite of his extreme self-serving pursuit of pleasure/comfort and his self-deification, Satan remains effectively calculating and controlled.

DOMAIN X TYPE CHARACTERISTICS:

COGNITIVE x Type A: No significant positive or negative correlations.

COGNITIVE x Type B: No significant positive correlations.
Significant Negative Correlations (in rank order): Borderline Personality Disorder and Avoidant Personality Disorder.

Analysis: Satan is independent, has no fear of abandonment, has a strong sense of self and is decidedly self-satisfied, has excellent impulse control, has excellent interpersonal skills, and is socially engaging.

COGNITIVE x Type C: No significant positive or negative correlations.

BEHAVIOR x Type A: No significant positive correlations.
Significant Negative Correlations (in rank order): Schizotypal Personality Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder.

Analysis: Satan has no significant deficits in interpersonal skills, is quite comfortable in social situations, has excellent impulse control, and is stable and single-minded in purpose.

BEHAVIOR x Type B: No significant positive or negative correlations.

BEHAVIOR x Type C: No significant positive correlations.
Significant Negative Correlations: Dependent Personality Disorder.

Analysis: Satan is independent to the core and has no characteristics related to submissiveness unless confronted with superior power.

EXISTENTIAL x Type A: No significant negative correlations.
Significant Positive Correlations (in rank order): 40-point Hare PCL-R and traits of Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Analysis: In terms of motivation, Satan certainly has a grandiose sense of self-worth, lacks remorse or guilt, is callous and lacks empathy, and is certainly versatile in violating the rights of others.

EXISTENTIAL x Type B:
Significant Positive Correlations (in rank order): 40-point Hare PCL-R and Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
Significant Negative Correlations (in rank order): Asperger’s Disorder and Schizoid Personality Disorder.

Analysis: Satan actively seeks and exploits the attention of others. He uses an array of maladaptive strategies and tactics to get what he wants and to avoid what he does not want. He is certainly a pathological liar, conning, and manipulative. In general, he is quite versatile in exploiting and violating the rights of others. He demonstrates a marked absence of legal, ethical, or moral restraint in the pursuit of his desires and the attainment of power and control. He is neither restricted nor detached in terms of social relationships, generally displaying excellent knowledge of nonverbal cues and the subtle nuances of verbal communication processes.

EXISTENTIAL x Type C: No significant negative correlations.
Significant Positive Correlations: Traits of Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Analysis: Satan’s high self-opinion and active pursuit of pleasure/comfort are extreme but tempered by his good impulse control and general ability to balance risk with opportunity.
